Honestly, a vote for Donald Trump *or* abstaining from voting for Biden is a guarantee that things will only get worse in this Israeli war/genocide. For as much as I hate that Biden hasn't done much, Trump is VERY MUCH extremely pro-Israel. https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/27/trump-donors-israel-gaza-palestinian-protests

It's basically a choice between "not doing enough to end genocide" and "will aid and gleefully encourage more genocide." Sigh...

Huge sigh and an even bigger hug. everything feels so F-ed up right now. We have to focus on our present , our kids, our current situation . Do right, be kind, speak up for injustice, but also be present and savor what’s right in front of you because it’s all we have . It’s so hard

Yeah, focusing on what we can control is the most we can do, but it's still so hard. It's like... I have to get groceries soon and it's not like me NOT buying food for my family will have any kind of impact on children facing famine... but it also just makes me sad. Gotta keep going, but it's just sad and hard sometimes.
