How a thrown toy reminded me of the most important thing in life.
How is your 2023 ending? Are you excited for anything in 2024? What’s an adventure you’d like to have next year, either with your family or on your own?
Another reason is that it was good that that kid spoke up about Rio.
And said it in a factual way; not in a "bad kid" way.

Especially if the parent has been impacted/influenced by the Anglo-Saxon distinction of "telling tales" versus "reporting".
The "factual" part is important. Also that the child did it in a timely way and not to get Rio in trouble.
I think as always of the 10,000 negative pieces of feedback which neurodivergent youth get before they are 12 years old.
[and I want everyone to get - and give - less negative feedback - and be very thoughtful about when they choose to give it!]
